MP: Lease land of Methodist Church sold for crores, EOW filed case against 12

Kumar Inder, Jabalpur. The State Economic Offenses Investigation Bureau (EOW) has registered a case against 12 people in connection with the sale of land worth crores of rupees to the Methodist Church at Rampur in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. After investigating the complaint of the applicant Rajesh Silas, the team has registered a case against 12 people. In the case of fraudulently sold land, the EOW officials are still investigating, in which more faces will come to the fore.

According to EOW officials, 12 people, including Secretary Manish Gideon, fraudulently sold the valuable land of the Methodist Church in India in Rampur. While that land can only be given on lease, it is not being sold. If the land is also given on lease, permission is taken from the Charity Commissioner before that. Even after this, Manish Gideon along with his partner Ravi Prasad, Vinay Peter sold 18 thousand square feet of land to the builder. Whose cost was about one crore 37 lakh 50 thousand rupees.
