MP Morning News: PM Modi’s visit to MP today, AAP rally in Gwalior, hearing in defamation case against Digvijay Singh, C-20 summit from today in the capital

Amritanshi Joshi, Bhopal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit MP today for the second time in a week. PM Modi will reach Shahdol at 3 pm today. Where he will discuss with self-help group’s millionaire sisters, gram sabha members, village football players and tribal representatives. During this, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be present together. Along with this, PM Modi will launch the distribution of PVC Ayushman cards and the mission to eradicate sickle cell anemia.

AAP’s election campaign

There will be an election campaign of Aam Aadmi Party in Madhya Pradesh today. There will be a big rally of AAP at the fair ground in Gwalior today. In which Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be included. Aam Aadmi Party will try to emerge as the third option in the state. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann will address the rally at 3.00 pm.

Digvijay Singh defamation case

Defamation case against Digvijay Singh will be heard today. He had given statements in 2014 regarding BJP state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma. VD Sharma had filed a defamation case in the court. The Bhopal court has framed charges under section 500. There is a provision of punishment of 1 to 2 years in this section of IPC. The court had registered the case on 5 December 2022 on the application of VD Sharma.

Two-day C-20 summit from today

The two-day C-20 summit will begin in Bhopal from today. MSME Minister Omprakash Sakhalecha will launch at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall. In the C-20 service conference, there will be a brainstorm on the topic “Service is the highest religion”. India’s contribution to the world in the service sector will be discussed with the aim of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. By brainstorming, the direction of peace and development at the global level will be decided. The C-20 summit, one of the official working groups of the G-20, will be attended by 400 delegates from 21 countries. There will be 8 planning sessions in the summit. The summit will be attended by Mohamed Haji Al Khoury, Director General of Khalifa bin Joyed Al Nahyan Foundation, CSOs of various countries including India and ambassadors of many countries.
