MP News: Minor tribal child shot dead in Raisen, father alleges murder

Anil Saxena, Raisen. A minor tribal boy died after being hit by a bullet (shrapnel) in Padariya village of Bamhori police station in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. In the case of suspicious death, the police registered a case and got PM from two doctors. Dr. Abhishek Thakur has told that death was due to bullet injury and excessive bleeding. At the same time, the father of the deceased has accused of murder. Police is interrogating three suspects in custody.

The incident is of Friday night. Rohit Thakur’s father, Girwar Thakur, age 13, resident of Kartoli, died due to airgun shrapnel in the stomach. Girwar Thakur, the father of the deceased, said that former PWD SDO Jaswant worked as a laborer on Dhakad’s farm and lived in the same house. Tractor driver Ashish Dhakad and buffalo caretaker Krishna Pal Yadav (Chhotu) and Jitendra Dhakad were in the upper room with the deceased Rohit, when suddenly hearing the sound of gunshots, went to the upper room and saw blood coming out of Rohit’s stomach. He was immediately taken to Bareilly for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

By registering a case, the police is interrogating three suspects in custody. FSL team, SDOP Silvani Rajesh Tiwari, TI Maya Singh are engaged in investigation. Advance action will be taken on the basis of evidence available in the investigation. Girwar Thakur, the father of the deceased, has alleged that these people have fired and there have been disputes with other persons, who have also raised doubts about their involvement.
