Imran Khan, Khandwa. Khandwa Police of Madhya Pradesh has got a big success. The police have arrested the accused who was absconding for seven years in a robbery case from Mumbai. The accused, along with 12 of his friends, had committed the robbery in 2016 by taking the family hostage. After the incident, Vishnu Shinde had fled to Mumbai to escape from the police. On getting the information, the police caught him. A reward of ten thousand rupees was also declared on the accused.

Police said that on August 6, 2016, at around 3 am, 12 miscreants committed a robbery at the house of advocate Ganibhai Fidvi, who lives behind Urdu school in Ghaspura area. Taking the family hostage, the accused assaulted them and took away jewelry worth Rs 15 lakh and cash of Rs 10 lakh. Eight accused were nabbed from Maharashtra and Rajasthan on 23 August 2016 on the complaint of the victim. Vishnu Shinde of Jalana was also involved in this incident who fled to Mumbai.
