Mukesh Khanna on Adipurush: Ever since Adipurush has been released on the big screen, it has been facing criticism. The producer, director and writer are on target for the dialogues, graphics and characters of this film. Now the statement of actor Mukesh Khanna has also come out on this film. He has alleged that the makers have insulted the Ramayana.
Mukesh Khanna accused Adipurush
Mukesh Khanna has gained popularity from TV serials like Mahabharata and Shaktimaan. He gives his opinion on every subject. Now recently he has posted on his YouTube channel Bhishma International in which he said, ‘There can be no greater insult to Ramayana than Adipurush. Om Raut had no knowledge of Ramayana. Apart from this, we have intellectual writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla, who has converted our Ramayana into Kalyug. His nonsensical dialogues and sleep-inducing screenplay have made a film that would make even sleeping pills blush. This film has never had anything to do with any Ramayana.
Terrible joke happened with Ramayana
Mukesh Khanna further said, ‘History will never forgive the makers of Adipurush for writing such bad dialogues. This clearly shows that Om Raut was influenced by Hollywood filmmakers. They have tried to bring it in Ramayana if you want to take cinematic liberty then you would have made a fictional film but you have played with the image of God. That’s why Adipurush is a terrible joke done with Ramayana.
Questions raised on Lord Hanuman’s getup
Mukesh Khanna has questioned the look of Meghnath and Hanuman in the film. He said, ‘If Hanuman ji sees his getup in this film, he will lift a mountain and throw it at the makers.’
