In order to make the voter list more transparent, on the orders of the Election Commission, in the second special brief revision starting from August 2, this time the sector officer will read the voter list instead of the BLO.

The reason behind taking the new initiative: In election years, political parties used to allege irregularities in the voter list. Due to which the Election Commission has taken this new initiative to avoid any kind of disturbance. After August 2, its camps will be organized on Saturdays and Sundays. Along with this, these camps will be organized on 12, 13, 19, 20 August.

Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that for the first time a new initiative is being taken during the second special summary revision between the assembly elections.
