Feature Story. While working on new and local dimensions of employment, the Government of Chhattisgarh is increasing employment opportunities in the state. From Bastar to Surguja, new dimensions of local employment are now open. Old traditions are now becoming a source of income by joining employment. The unique model of employment is the subject of discussion in the whole country today, that is why today Chhattisgarh is the state with the lowest unemployment rate in the whole country.
Rural Industrial Park has become an important source of local employment and entrepreneurship development in villages today. By joining them, women, youth, farmers and laborers including people of every class are becoming financially empowered. The Government of Chhattisgarh is working towards taking the youth forward and encouraging them towards innovation, self-employment and entrepreneurship.
To give positive form to the energy of the youth, the Government of Chhattisgarh not only formed the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club, but united the youth and provided such resources. By joining the club, the youth can do collective activities of tree plantation, cleanliness, drinking water conservation and other public awareness at the local level.
Realizing the employment needs of the youth, the Government of Chhattisgarh has also taken out government jobs on a large scale. Along with this, due to the regular organization of divisional level job fairs in private sectors, avenues of employment are also being opened in reputed companies of private sectors.
In the field of entrepreneurship, the youth desirous of self-employment are getting many opportunities from the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. The Government of Chhattisgarh has implemented many innovative schemes at the grassroots level to encourage entrepreneurship to the talented youth of rural areas.
The establishment of Rural Industrial Park has not only increased the employment opportunities at the local level, but the facility of land, electricity, water, road and banking linkages in the village itself is also promoting startups. In this way, the government is providing employment according to the local needs.
On the initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, new opportunities of self-employment are being made available to the youth apart from business. Especially in tribal-dominated and backward areas, the government has connected people with traditional works and is providing them employment at the local level.
Locally available resources are not only being stored but also linked with setting up and marketing of their processing units locally. In this series, C-Marts have been established in the cities, so that various products produced in the villages can be sold.
The youth are also benefiting a lot from the employment mission started by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Through this, the government has made a successful effort to connect industrialists, trainers and youths looking for employment through a single channel.
The Chhattisgarh government has started the unemployment allowance scheme, eliminating the economic problems between the youth for further studies and preparing for competitive examinations. Along with this, the government is also running training programs to hone young talents and develop their skills.
The Government of Chhattisgarh is working on continuous expansion of facilities in the field of sports and education. Work is also being done to promote sports activities, development of infrastructure and facilities and encouragement to sportspersons in the state. In order to nurture and encourage sports talents, big events like Chhattisgarh Olympics and Youth Festival are also being organized, where youth participation is being given priority.
