Opposition to the film Adipurush in MP: People called the film a slob and an insult to Lord Shriram, called for a boycott

Dinesh Sharma, Sagar. The movie Adipurush, based on Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, has been embroiled in controversies in Madhya Pradesh as soon as it was released. People’s response to the film is not good. There have been calls to boycott the film alleging that it mocks the spoken dialogues and mythological characters.

Akash Singh, son of Madhya Pradesh’s Transport and Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput, enthusiastically came to watch the film with his supporters. The film disappointed him fiercely. When he came out after watching the film, he called the film a slur and an insult to Lord Shriram. He said that he will write a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh in this regard and demand a ban on the film. They say that Lord Ram is Maryada Purushottam, but his character has been tampered with.

The characters of Ramayana, who are seen with great faith by Sanatani Hindus, have been made fun of in many places. There are many famous and devotional episodes of Ramayana, which have been shown arbitrarily in this film. The dialogues of the film are level-headed and cheesy. The dialogue delivery has not been done according to the character. He said that in this connection he will write a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh and demand a ban on the film. Along with this, he has also called upon the people to boycott the film.
