In fact, recently Pakistan’s Sports Minister Ahsan Mazari said that since Pakistan is the host of Asia Cup 2023, all the matches of the tournament should be played on Pakistani soil. He also said that he does not want a hybrid model. But if the Indian team will not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then the Pakistani team will not go to India to play the ODI World Cup. But now an agreement has been reached between the BCCI and the Pakistan Cricket Board.
At the same time, 6 teams including India-Pakistan have been divided into 2 pools for the Asia Cup. Apart from India-Pakistan, Nepal has a team in Pool-A. While Pool-B has the team of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
