Pregnant wife reached the police station with a complaint against her husband: Accused of rape on brother-in-law, warned if no action was taken

Ajay Neema, Ujjain. A case of harassment of a 5-month pregnant woman by her husband and brother-in-law has come to light in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday, the victim reached the women’s police station and gave an application demanding action against her husband and brother-in-law. At the same time, the victim has accused her husband and brother-in-law of physical abuse. Now the question arises that how the police take action on this complaint of the victim.

The victim has told in her application that after marriage, her husband Akash Hada and brother Vikas Hada alias Vicky forcefully made physical relations with the victim, when the victim protested, then threatened to kill her by assaulting her. Both the brothers made her pregnant by sexually abusing her alternately. After which the victim was evicted from the house on 28 March 2023. Whereas on March 27, husband Akash married another woman in Indore. Which the victim was not aware of. At the same time, the family members also agreed in favor of the second marriage.

The victim also told that she is forced to commit suicide. The husband is a garbage van driver in the Municipal Corporation, while the brother-in-law is a ward boy in JK Hospital. The victim reached the police station and filed a case against her husband and brother-in-law and demanded action. On the other hand, the victim has warned of self-immolation in the police station premises if no action is taken, for which the administration will be responsible. Now it has to be seen what action the police takes in this matter.
