Prem Sagar Son Of Ramanand Sagar Reaction On Adipurush Talk On Ravana Hanuman Character | Adipurush: Prem Sagar furious over Ravana’s character in Adipurush, said

Prem Sagar Reaction On Adipurush: The process of protest against ‘Adipurush’ has increased even more after its release. Viewers are voicing their displeasure against the film for misrepresenting the characters and events of the epic ‘Ramayana’. In this episode, Ramanand Sagar’s son Prem Sagar has also expressed his displeasure.

While giving an interview to a news portal, Prem Sagar said that he has not seen the film yet but has seen the teaser of the film. In this, Devdutt Nage, who is playing the role of Hanuman ji, says, ‘Tel tere baap ka, jalegi tere baap ki…’, seeing this, it seems that Om Raut has tried to make Marvel through ‘Adipurush’.

‘Ramayan like Ramanand Sagar cannot be made even for 50 years’
Prem Sagar has also posted a video on his Instagram, with which he has also written a long caption. He wrote- ‘Even for 50 years, a Ramayana made like Ramanand Sagar’s cannot be made… Papaji was born to make Ramayana, he was sent to this earth to rewrite Ramayana, as Valmikiji did it in verses. It was written in India, Tulsidasji wrote it in Awadh language and Papaji wrote it in the electronic age… Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana was such an epic that the world experienced and it will never be changed in the hearts of people.’

Ravana’s character in the film was told wrong
According to Prem Sagar, his father Ramanand Sagar also made Ramayana and in that too he used creative freedom but he understood Lord Ram. He made some minor changes after reading several texts and never tampered with the facts. Next, Prem also talked about Saif Ali Khan’s dark complexion as Ravana’s character. He said that Ravana was very learned and knowledgeable and no one can present him as a villain.

Misusing Creative Freedom?
It is told in the scriptures that whatever Ravana did, he did it only because he knew that he could attain salvation only at the hands of Lord Rama. And when Ravana was about to die, Lord Rama sent Lakshmana at Ravana’s feet so that he could learn something from him. While talking further in his interview, Prem Sagar said that Ravana cannot be presented as a dreaded villain under the guise of creative freedom in Adipurush.

‘Adipurush has changed all the facts’
He said that if you have made today’s Ramayana, then show it in Breach Candy and Colaba, do not show it all over the world and do not hurt the sentiments of the people. Prem Sagar further said that Kritivasi and Eknath had also written Ramayana, they only changed the color and language, but ‘Adipurush’ has changed all the facts.
