Rajat Bedi On Quit Bollywood: The film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ was a blockbuster. The fame of this film was seen all over the country. However, there was also a popular actor of this film who went into depression because of ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. That actor was none other than Rajat Bedi who played the role of Raj Saxena in this film. Rajat Bedi recently revealed that he was very disappointed with the cutting of many of his scenes in the film. Along with this, he also revealed the reason for leaving the industry.
‘Koi Mil Gaya’ became the reason for taking a break from acting
In a recent interview to Mukesh Khanna, Rajat revealed that even though his film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ proved to be a super hit, he was very disappointed with the last scene of the film being cut. Koi Mil Gaya was a blockbuster and this film, directed by Rakesh Roshan, played an important role in his life. Due to which he realized that he needed to take a break from acting. After which he went to Canada to start his new life.
Not made part of promotion
Rajat disclosed the reason behind his quitting acting and said that when he came to know that many of his scenes with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan had been cut, he went into depression. He also revealed that when the team of Koi Mil Gaya was going from place to place for promotion, he was not a part of it. Rajat said, ‘My biggest disappointment was that when Koi Mil Gaya released, they completely cut me off from promoting the film. I was very disappointed because as an actor we also have some expectations.
