However, Sunil Lahiri, who is seen in the role of Laxman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, has objected to Alia Bhatt being given the role of Mata Sita.
Actually Nitesh wants to choose Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Alia Bhatt for the role of Mata Sita. According to a news published in E-Times, Sunil Lahiri says that Ranbir Kapoor can be a good choice for the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s film as he can give a good performance. On the other hand, regarding Aaliya, he said that he is not sure about her.

Nitesh said that Alia is talented, if she had done this role five years ago, she would have been able to do justice to this character. However, he also made it clear that whatever opinion he has about Aaliya, he has his own views. Because she feels that Alia has ‘changed’ and she is not sure about how well she can play the role of Mata Sita.
The film may release in early 2025!
