Tell that, the applicant Sarkar Tandon had filed a report in Bhilai Nagar that, on July 18, Baljit Sethia, his brother-in-law Babbi forcefully took the applicant towards Supela in his black colored car and while threatening inside the car, Baljit Sethia took out a pistol and kept it in his temple and demanded Rs 5 lakh for his bet. On the second day, on 19th July, Baljit Sethia came again in the morning with Malkit alias Babbi and then threatened to kill you if the money was not given by resting the pistol on the temple. After which, in fear, the applicant sent Rs 1 lakh to Baljit Sethia through UPI.
SP Shalabh Kumar Sinha told that earlier Mahadev online betting was conducted by the arrested accused. In order to recover the losses incurred in this, the incident was executed by the accused at the point of pistol. The report of the applicant was taken into consideration under sections 365, 386 Bhadvi 25, 27 Arms Act. The police formed separate teams to nab the accused and laid siege to the accused Baljit Sethia and Malkit Singh. Seized a country made pistol, 3 live rounds, car and mobile used in the incident from the accused.
