Born on July 9, 1938 in Surat, Gujarat, Sanjeev Kumar had dreamed of becoming an artist since childhood. In fact, although he belonged to a Gujarati family, seven years after Sanjeev’s birth, his family settled in Mumbai.

After this, Sanjeev took up the tune of becoming an actor and started doing theatre. After this, he stepped on the silver screen in 1960 with the film Hum Hindustani and became famous everywhere.

Sanjeev Kumar yearning for love all his life

Sanjeev Kumar, who won the hearts of millions of people with his acting and simplicity, had lost his heart to someone in real life. That person was none other than Hema Malini, the dream girl of all hearts.

Sanjeev Kumar fell in love with Hema Malini at first sight during the shooting of the film Seeta Aur Geeta. He also went to Hema Malini’s house to ask for her hand, but the actress’s mother refused the relationship citing her fraternity.

Due to this, Sanjeev Kumar was so broken that he decided not to marry for the rest of his life and also rejected the love of Sulakshana Pandit, who killed herself.

He will say goodbye to this world even before completing 50 years of his life. Behind this, he used to cite his family history that all the men in his family lose their lives before the age of 50. Now call it superstition or reality, Sanjeev Kumar also said goodbye to this world at the age of 47. He died of a heart attack on 6 November 1985.
