Sarv Adivasi Samaj will field candidates on 50 seats: State President Arvind Netam said – the society will boycott the big leaders of the society

Hakim Nasir, Mahasamund. Just before the assembly elections 2023 in Chhattisgarh, Sarv Adivasi Samaj has opened a front against both the national parties. Sarva Adivasi Samaj will boycott all the big leaders of the society, who held various political big positions and did not represent their society properly, including fielding their candidates on 50 seats, for their rights. Former Union Minister and State President of Chhattisgarh Sarva Adivasi Samaj Arvind Netam said these things in a media conference.

Netam said that since the formation of Chhattisgarh, the laws made for the tribals in the state are continuously violating their constitutional rights. For this, all the tribal societies have been continuously giving requests and application memorandums. He said, 32 percent reservation was to be given in 2001, which was not received. In the delimitation, 5 reserved seats for tribals were removed and the rule of PESA law was made after a long wait, but in that rule the right of Gram Sabha was abolished.

Arvind Netam said, on Naxal problem, displacement of tribals in the name of development works, land issues and their 23-point demands, Sarv Adivasi Samaj Andolan, chakkajam, Vidhansabha gherao were done continuously, but the previous government and the present government did not give any help to the tribals. Neither wants to talk on the issue nor do they want to give the legal rights given to them. At present, the MLAs who have won from reserved seats have failed to raise the issue of tribals. Now all the tribal communities will keep their voice till the assembly and use their public opinion for their rights. The tribal community will fight for the 2023 assembly elections to solve their problems.
