Secretary arrested red handed taking 3 thousand bribe

Dinesh Sharma, Sagar. The process of bribery in Madhya Pradesh is not taking the name of stopping. Action is being taken daily, yet the officers and employees are not desisting from taking bribe. No government work is done without taking money. In Sagar district, once again a secretary has been arrested red-handed by the Lokayukta while taking Rs 3,000 bribe.

In fact, Devisingh Yadav, secretary of Gram Panchayat Hanauta Patkui under Banda Janpad Panchayat of Sagar district, has been caught taking bribe. The well of Kapil Dhara was approved in the name of the mother of applicant Chandukumar Ahirwar. In lieu of the third instalment, a demand of five thousand rupees was being made.

According to the information, the applicant Chandra Kumar Ahirwar had given an application in Lokayukta Sagar on 25 May 2023 that the well of Kapil Dhara worth two lakh 75 thousand rupees was approved in the name of the mother. Whose first installment amount of 90 thousand rupees was received. Secretary Devi Singh Yadav is demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 for putting the muster roll.

The Lokayukta police has caught red-handed Devisingh Yadav, secretary of the old Janpad Panchayat, taking a bribe of Rs 3,000.
