Matches against Pakistan should be played in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata – Najam Sethi
Significantly, ICC officials had recently visited Pakistan. PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi had told ICC officials that Pakistan did not want their matches to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Along with this, Najam Sethi requested the ICC officials to play matches against Pakistan in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. However, Najam Sethi told the ICC officials that if the knock-out matches are held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, then we are ready to play.
