Even though there is talk of development all around in Madhya Pradesh, but the people of ward number-1 of Nai Raipura township of Vidisha district headquarters are far away from development. People here do not have any facilities in the name of development. As soon as the rainy season comes, the problems of the people increase. Due to lack of paved roads, there is a pile of mud in the ward. And the children can’t even go to school. If someone falls ill, they have to face difficulties in taking them to the hospital. In this regard, applications have been given to many leaders by the local people, but till now no hearing has taken place.
The local people looked angry with councilor Arun Manjhi. Ward residents told that a child’s leg is plastered, he is made to cross the road by sitting on a cot. Told that the councilor comes and leaves after seeing. It is assured to get the work done by them, but till date nothing has been done in the ward.

Local MLA Shashank Bhargava said that the new settlement of Raipura had a permanent old road. On which wire fencing has been closed. Apart from this, the other way goes through a bridge. Two years ago, funds were given to the municipality from the MLA’s fund to make way, but the works of the municipality have not been completed till date.
