Two people died due to lightning in two different districts of Madhya Pradesh. In Hata area of Damoh district, a person standing under a tree died due to lightning. Similarly, in Sagar district, two persons who had gone to work in the fields were struck by lightning, out of which one person died, while the other was seriously injured.

Aqib Khan, Hata (Damoh). Sundar (age 52) father Punne Lodhi was standing under a mango tree in the field to avoid rain in Murach village under Gasabad police station area of the district. Then suddenly lightning struck the tree, due to which it died. On the information of the incident, Gasabad police station reached the spot, after the panchnama action, the dead body has been removed and sent to the civil hospital for postmortem. At present, the police is investigating the matter by establishing a marg.

One killed, one injured in Sagar
Dinesh Sharma, Sagar. On Sunday afternoon, one person died due to lightning in village Sahajpuri Kala of Rahli police station area of the district, while another person was seriously injured. Both were working in the field, when it was raining heavily, they sat under a tree. Meanwhile, Raju Gaur (age 35), a resident of Sahajpuri Kala, died due to lightning.

On the other hand, Kalu Adivasi (age 40), a resident of Samnapur, got injured after being struck by lightning. People present nearby reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment, while they informed the police. The police reached the spot, took the dead body into custody and sent it for postmortem. At present, the police is busy in further investigation by establishing a route.
