Due to which they are getting financial help as well as employment as well as they are becoming financially strong. Gothans have shown the way for rural women to become financially strong by doing more than one work at the same time through the group. Not only this, the dream of making the villages self-supporting from the Gothans is also coming true.
In this sequence, the women of Nandini Mahila Self-Help Group in Beltikari Gauthan of Bilaigarh development block are uniting and doing the work of mushroom production in a better way. Apart from this, the land located in Gothan is also being used for the cultivation of many types of vegetables. Apart from this, construction work is going on in a big way by actively participating in the regular works of Gauthan, which include making vermicompost and selling cow urine, etc.
Scheme realizing the importance of livestock
Gothan is being successfully operated by the women of the group. Keeping in view the importance of livestock at the village level, the concept of Gauthan was to provide them ample fodder, make vermicompost from cow dung and collect cow urine. Realizing the importance of livestock, 100 percent execution of all these works is being done in Beltikari Gothan under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana.

Apart from all these works, water filter plant is being successfully operated in Beltikari Gauthan. With the help of which water bottle and 20 liter water jar are being prepared. Also they are being sold in the local market. Which is certainly a great option for self-employment to strengthen the rural economy.
