State’s first cross flyover started: Construction has been done at a cost of 66 crores, now the people of Bhilai will get relief from jam

Manendra Patel, Durg. The arch bridge and flyover built on the Power House Market in Bhilai on National Highway 53 in the district has been opened for the common people from today. The specialty of this flyover is that it is the first cross flyover in the state. There is already a 25 year old bridge under this bridge. Which connects the township area of Bhilai with the Power House Market.

People had been waiting for this flyover built by the National Highway for a long time, because during the construction of the flyover, the cargo trucks running on the Mumbai Kolkata National Highway were passing through the bottom, due to which the people of Bhilai had to face many problems and accidents. It was happening, but now people will get relief from it.

The construction of this bridge started in the year 2018, the cost of which is around 66 crores. Its length is 1700 meters and width is about 13 meters. The height of this bridge is said to be 13 meters. Although the flyover construction agency Royal Infrastructure has not handed it over to the National Highway Authority of India, but the district administration has now started this bridge, which was built after a delay of about one and a half year from the fixed date line.

At present, there is no arrangement of traffic signals and lights in this bridge. But soon the district administration will operate the flyover smoothly after all these arrangements. Through this bridge, people will now be able to get rid of the long jam in the power house market on the National Highway.
