Supply of hemp between coconut sacks in truck, 2 arrested with hemp worth 27 lakhs

Kumar Inder, Jabalpur. Jabalpur Police of Madhya Pradesh has taken major action against the Ganja smugglers. Police has seized more than 136 kg of ganja being brought in film style. This ganja was being brought in a truck by filling it in the middle of a coconut sack. Which was recovered by the police from Gorakhpur police station area on the information of the informer. The value of the seized hemp is said to be around Rs 27 lakh.

It is being told that ganja was being brought from Warangal in Andhra Pradesh, the truck in which ganja was being brought is from Maharashtra passing. At the same time, in the interrogation of the police, it has been found that the police have arrested the truck owner and driver along with the ganja.

Initial inquiry revealed that both truck owner Bhupendra Yadav and driver Dongar Singh Yadav are residents of Vidisha. The police is engaged in searching the criminal record of both of them. The police is trying to find out where the hemp reached Jabalpur from Warangal, where and among which people the preparations were going on to consume it.
