Bilaspur. Collector Saurabh Kumar has taken immediate cognizance of the written complaint made by Mopka resident Umendra Sahu regarding the possession of land. Following the instructions of the Collector, the SDM has ordered to maintain the status quo on the spot.
Farmer Umendra Sahu had given a written complaint on June 23 that his land located in village Mopka has been leveled by breaking the med of Khasra No. 1357 and mixed with his land by the nearby land holders Sheru Aslam and Mohsin Khan, and is threatening him. That this land is his own land. Taking the complaint seriously, the Collector circulated a letter to Bilaspur SDM to take immediate action.
Taking cognizance of the complaint letter, SDM Bilaspur has issued an order under section 145 CrPC to maintain status quo on the spot, as well as called both the parties to the office on June 28 with their respective documents for hearing. Along with this, police have been written to take cognizance of the incident and report to Bilaspur Municipal Corporation for taking legal action regarding irregular development.
In the complaint letter, farmer Umed Sahu has complained against Sheru Aslam, but notice has been issued to Mohsin Khan because the land is in the name of Mohsin Khan. Along with this police station Sarkanda has submitted a report of preventive action against Sheru Aslam.
