The High Court will now hear again on the alleged scam of thousand crores of high profile NGO, know the whole matter…

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. In the case of alleged scam of one thousand crore rupees through NGO in the name of hospital operation, the public interest litigation will now be heard afresh. Now the Chief Justice will form a new bench in this matter.

Let us tell you that in January 2020, the Division Bench of the High Court had issued an order to the CBI to register an FIR against 12 officers, including several IAS, on which the CBI had also registered a case. This order was challenged in the Supreme Court by retired IAS and the then Chief Secretaries Vivek Dhand and MK Raut. The Supreme Court had quashed the order of the High Court. Now the matter will be heard in a new bench in the High Court.

Please inform that Kundan Singh Thakur, a resident of Kushalpur, had filed a public interest litigation in the High Court, in which some retired and working officers were accused of allegedly committing irregularities of one thousand crores through the NGO. From the documents received from RTI, it was found that the hospital for disabled in Naya Raipur is run by an NGO. Apart from buying machines worth crores for the hospital, information was also given that crores would be spent on maintenance. In reality, this hospital was not on the ground but only on paper.
