Last night, 8 masked miscreants armed with unknown weapons committed a dacoity incident in a house in Kotwali police station area. On the first day of Sawan, the miscreants entered the house barefoot and assaulted and escaped after robbing five lakhs along with gold and silver jewellery. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. Kotwali police reached the spot as soon as the matter was known. After registering a case against unknown miscreants, the police is looking for the accused.

In fact, Rajneesh Kumar Sen, who lives near Koyalari Gate, Kalyanpur Ward No. 13, just 1 kilometer away from Kotwali police station, was out of the house for some work. His wife Poonam and son Ritesh were at home, when around 1.30 am, masked miscreants barged into the house vandalizing the wall of his house. Sprayed narcotic substances on the mother and son sleeping in the house, due to which they became unconscious and robbed the jewelery and cash kept in the locker of the almirah. During this, the miscreants escaped after fighting with the mother-son.

All the misdeeds of the miscreants were captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. As soon as the matter was known, the Kotwali police reached the spot, inspected the spot, registered a case against the unknown miscreants and started their search. Station in-charge Yogend Singh Parihar said that an incident has taken place, on which a case is being registered and the accused are being searched.
