Uniform Civil Code: Sangh will conduct public awareness campaign regarding UCC, a big meeting will be held in Bhopal

Ajay Sharma, Bhopal. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has become active amid the nationwide controversy over the Uniform Civil Code. Sangh will make people aware about UCC by running Jan Jagran Abhiyan. An important meeting of the Sangh will be held in this regard from 30 June to 2 July.

Actually, this meeting has been called by Pragya Pravah, an affiliate organization of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS). Prominent office bearers of RSS’s subsidiary organization will be present in the meeting. The meeting will be held from June 30 to July 2 in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. A strategy will be prepared regarding the campaign in the meeting. Let us inform that PM Modi had given a big statement on UCC during his visit to Bhopal.

Addressing the BJP workers in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said about the Uniform Civil Code that today we are seeing that instigation is being done in the name of Uniform Civil Code. If there is one law for a family member in a house, another law for another member of the family, will that house be able to run? Then how will the country be able to run with such a dual system. What is UCC?
Uniform Civil Code i.e. UCC means to have uniform law for every citizen living in India, irrespective of religion or caste. With the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, there will be one law for all religions. The same law will apply to all religions in matters of marriage, divorce, adoption and division of property.
