Uproar in Parliament on Manipur case: Congress and AAP gave adjournment motion for discussion, Union Minister Goyal said – discussion should also be held on crime against women in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh

Today is the fourth day of the monsoon session in Parliament. There was an uproar on the Manipur issue on Tuesday as well. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have given an adjournment motion to discuss Manipur. The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm and the Rajya Sabha till 12 as soon as the proceedings started. Union Minister Piyush Goyal said in Parliament, “The government is ready to discuss 177 notices of atrocities against women and children in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. If there is any crime against women in the whole country, then the government is ready for discussion. We should discuss these issues.”

INDIA, a coalition of opposition parties, held a meeting before the proceedings of the Parliament, in which it was discussed to bring a no-confidence motion against the Modi government. On the other hand, the BJP called a meeting of the parliamentary party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while advising his MPs said that it is the job of the opposition to protest. Let them do it and focus on their work. We have to make a developed country by 2047.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big attack on opposition unity. He said that such directionless opposition has not been seen till date. PM Modi compared the opposition to the East India Company. The PM said that nothing happens by using the name India. The East India Company had also put India and the name of Indian Mujahideen also has India.
