Raipur. There was a lot of uproar in the House on the issue of movement of irregular and contract workers. BJP gave notice of postponement, which was unacceptable by Asandi. On this, the BJP MLAs started raising slogans, while the MLAs of the ruling party started raising slogans of Bhupesh hai toh bharosa hai. Amidst uproar in the house, the proceedings were adjourned for 5 minutes.
BJP MLA Brijmohan Aggarwal demanded a discussion on the issue of contractual and irregular employees’ agitation in Zero Hour while giving notice of adjournment. Brijmohan Agarwal said that due to the agitation, the work is badly affected. BJP MLA Ajay Chandrakar said that all the agitating organizations of the state have rejected the Chief Minister’s announcement. 4 lakh workers are in agitation. There is discontent within all sections.
Former Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik said that the Congress government talked about assimilating the manifesto. But till the last session, the information came that the government is still collecting the information of irregular and contract workers only. There is a difference between the words and actions of the government. BJP MLA Shivratan Sharma said that Congress did not fulfill even a single point out of 36 of its manifesto. Work has stopped in all the offices. It should be discussed through adjournment.
Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel said that all classes are agitating. In the capital itself, 8-10 thousand people are on strike. The government should go among them and listen to their problems. The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly made the adjournment inadmissible. On seeing the BJP MLAs raising slogans in the House, the MLAs of the ruling party also started raising slogans. Taking a jibe at the BJP MLAs, CM Bhupesh Baghel said that many employees have come to meet him, so the BJP people should do whatever they want to do. The MLAs of the ruling party raised slogans if Bhupesh hai to bharosa hai.
