Ravichandran Ashwin On Jasprit Bumrah Fitness: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the official schedule of the ODI World Cup to be held in India on 27 June. Now all the teams have less than 100 days left to strengthen their preparations. In such a situation, Team India is still worried about the fitness of some of its players. In this one name is included of fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, whose fitness has now been given a big update by off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
Jasprit Bumrah was last seen playing in the home series against Australia last year. After this he was out due to back injury. Bumrah is currently going through the process of rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). In such a situation, hopes are being expressed about his return to Ireland or the Asia Cup.
Giving information about Bumrah’s return on his YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin said that in the last ICC events, the match between India and Pakistan has been much more exciting. I believe that something similar will be seen in the upcoming ODI World Cup match as well. Both the teams have excellent fast bowling attack. So it can be a very close contest. I hope that Jasprit Bumrah will be fully fit for this match. However, I cannot say anything about the team combination right now.
There will be a match between India and Pakistan on the field of Ahmedabad.
The historic match between India and Pakistan in the upcoming ODI World Cup will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 15 October. The Indian team will start its campaign in the ODI World Cup with a match against Australia in Chennai on 8 October. Ticket sales for ODI World Cup matches may start from next week.
