IND vs PAK In World Cup 2023: ODI World Cup 2023 is to be played in the hosting of India. Things are not getting clear regarding the Indo-Pak match in the world. According to the reports, in the schedule, the great match between India and Pakistan is to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Pakistan Cricket Board had demanded a change in the venue of the match played against India from ICC and BCCI.
But according to the reports, both the International Cricket Council and the Board of Control for Cricket in India have turned down this request of Pakistan. There is a tussle between the India and Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the Asia Cup to be played before the World Cup. In fact, the BCCI had refused to play the Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan.
When the World Cup was planned regarding the venue, it was made clear from Pakistan side that they would not play the league match against India in Ahmedabad. Apart from this, it was claimed in media reports that the Pakistan team does not want to play matches against Afghanistan in Chennai and also against Australia in Bangalore. There was also a demand from the PCB to swap the venues in both Chennai and Bangalore.
BCCI and ICC turned down Pakistan’s request
Please tell that BCCI and ICC have completely rejected the request of Pakistan Cricket Board. The match will be played between India and Pakistan according to the already decided draft schedule. This means that the World Cup league match between India and Pakistan will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15.
It is noteworthy that the official schedule of the tournament has not been announced by the International Cricket Council yet. According to media reports, due to Pakistan, there is delay in releasing the official schedule of the World Cup.
